Pakistan Customs claimed on Friday to have foiled a smuggling bid of one kilogramme heroin worth millions of rupees at the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.

According to customs officials, they arrested two suspected men, Imran and Majid, who were set to leave for Colombo from Karachi with 1kg heroin hidden in a suitcase.

According to reports, the high quality drug is worth Rs10 million in international markets.
